I created the simple and distinctive logo, engaging brand story, menu design and key visual for the new Baba Turkish Grill & Bar.
Celebrating the best of Turkish cuisine, the focus of the restaurant is the outdoor barbecue or ‘mangal’. An integral part of Turkish food culture, traditionally fathers or ‘babas’ are the ultimate chefs at the BBQ. With this in mind, the BABA brand story is built around the endearing feelings the word may evoke – many ‘babas’ are ‘legendary’ to different people in special ways
“This is not fine dining” strap line & hashtag was introduced to communicate the informal and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant – a place to ‘get stuck in’ to exceptional food and share unforgettable experiences.
