I created the full brand guidelines, including logo use, tone of voice, brand style & all copy writing.The brand is all about healthy food that’s lovingly handcrafted. The name ‘Soulmate’ has clear connections with love, so the logo concept is simple - love food! Clean & versatile, it translates beautifully across digital & print - with a marque allowing for playful and unique applications & messages to convey the spirit of the brand. #lovefood is used across social media to reinforce the brand message.

I brought the brand to life in the food packaging, using clean lines & simple messaging with rustic cardboard to show off the colourful products. Fresh & minimalist with a scientific feel, the brand iconography & heart marque shine through, where relevant. 'Proconut' is a new product made with protein & coconut water which needed its own unique brand identity.

Part of the rebrand involved working on the design & development of a new website - wireframes, design/layout, content & UX design. The site is still a work in progress & not yet live.

Concept, design & build of weekly email campaigns for Soulmatefood (100s in fact!) which consistently got higher than average open & click through rates, subsequently improving site traffic & increasing sales. Consistently delivering ideas for fresh & engaging content for email & social media, creating gifs where appropriate. 

Working with the social media manager, I created images & quotes for the brands most active channel, Instagram. Maximising engagement & reach, increasing website traffic through the bio link & organically growing followers by 10k in under 12 months.

Two emails with my creative lead on won Adestra ‘campaign of the month’ awards (shown above). One was a juice promotion which prompted a 39% click-to-open rate and record sales (campaign concept, photography & design) and the other a survey email which got an 80% completion rate (content & design). My designs have also featured on Pure360’s homepage to advertise the email platform.

eBooks & Sales Presentations

The creation of in depth b2b sales presentations which helped successfully secure new business contracts for Soulmatefood. Conceptualisation & creation numerous b2c informative eBooks to help sell products. I originated & collated content, created the designs (including all iconography) & wrote 90% of the copy. These added value for the consumer & increased sales of related offers & products - subjects including The Olympics, The Sirtfood Diet, Christmas & Summer Beach Body in partnership with Virgin Active.

Part the rebrand was to direct photography - establishing a unique style, using the brand colour where possible. The food was shot mostly from above which allowed for the flexibility to easily create composite images for different applications. I chose backgrounds & props depending on the campaign theme, eg. summer. For products that wouldn't work from above (eg. a burger) really low angles were used, creating a dramatic effect.
